JAKARTA - The 11th Indonesia International Geothermal Convention & Exhibition (IIGCE) 2025 was held at Jakarta International Convention Center (JICC) from 17 to 19 September 2025. It is an international event hosted by the Indonesian Geothermal Association (INAGA) with the support of the Ministry of Energy and Mineral Resources. With the theme of “Fostering Collaboration for a Green Economy in Indonesia: The Role of Geothermal Energy in Sustainable Growth”, this event brings together global leaders, experts, and innovators to shape the future of geothermal energy development in Indonesia.

The 11th Indonesia International Geothermal Convention & Exhibition (IIGCE) 2025 was held at JCC.

Dr. Pucai YANG (left), NK’s Geotechnical Experts, and Mr. Tamiaki FUJIWARA (middle), Senior Specialist of Land Infrastructure Development Operations, had a warm discussion with the customers (in the booth of NK at the event of IIGCE 2025.

Nippon Koei (NK), together with one of our subsidiary companies in Indonesia, PT. Indokoei International (IKI), an engineering consulting company, presented comprehensive information about our advanced technology that can help you plan infrastructure development and Geohazard Management services. We recognize this event as an ideal platform to introduce our technology and knowledge, which can play a vital role in supporting the planning phase for infrastructure development, such as renewable energy, geothermal, or urban/area development, and also provide disaster mitigation and prevention for the existing assets infrastructure.

GEOHAZARD RISK MANAGEMENT IN WAYANG WINDU GEOTHERMAL FIELD, INDONESIA

In the technical session of this event, Dr. Pucai YANG, Geotechnical Expert of NK, presented his paper titled “Geohazard Risk Management in Wayang Windu Geothermal Field, Indonesia”.

Dr Pucai YANG gave a presentation as one of the authors of the Technical Session in the IIGCE 2025 event, JICC, Indonesia.

The presentation highlighted NK’s comprehensive approach to and detailed recommendations for the adoption of effective geohazard management, the appropriate use of advanced technologies to safeguard a geothermal power plant facility’s operations, and ensure long-term resilience of Indonesia’s renewable energy efforts in a geohazard-prone region

Mr. Pucai YANG, received an appreciation plaque from the event host for his role as NK’s party to become the author for the technical session in IIGCE 2025.
