What We Do In That Event ?

Jakarta – Indonesia International Smart City Expo & Forum (IISMEX) 2023 took place at JIEXPO Kemayoran in Indonesia from August 30 to September 1, 2023. This event was organized by PT. Napindo Media Ashatama and supported by the Indonesian Ministry of Home Affairs through the Directorate General of Regional Administration as the Association of Southeast Asian Nations (ASEAN) Smart City Network Representative.

Numerous companies have participated in the event as exhibitors and were provided with opportunities to showcase their diverse range of products and services to guests and visitors. These companies also engaged in technical presentations and business matchmaking activities, all aimed at sharing information and addressing business needs related to smart city solutions.

Nippon Koei Co., Ltd. (NK) joined as one of the exhibitors and set up a booth alongside their subsidiary company in Indonesia which is PT. Indokoei International (IKI). At the end of the event, NK managed to connect with approximately 130 guests and visitors.

NK's smart solutions encompass a wide array of services and products related to smart city development. However, for this particular event, NK focused on promoting GauDT, landslide protection technology, satellite intelligence services, and energy transition solutions.

The following are some of the solutions highlighted at NK’s booth :

• GauDT
  ‍GauDT is a customizable and user-friendly platform that offers comprehensive insights into mobility data. It provides tailored mobility insights specific to the region by understanding the unique challenges it faces.
• Landslide Protection Technology
  ‍NK provides a full range of engineering services, from landslide protection and monitoring to post-disaster recovery and reconstruction planning.
• Satellite Intelligence Services
  ‍Improved satellite image resolution and analysis are enhancing remote sensing capabilities in public facilities and NK utilizes this technology to develop disaster response solutions for evaluating real-time damage and improving prevention and infrastructure monitoring.
• Energy Transition Solution
  ‍NK focuses on developing renewable energy assets such as hydropower and explores new business models like flexibility assets (battery storage), VPP, and hybrid microgrids.
• Collaboration
  ‍NK collaborates closely with IKI primarily in the development of industrial estates. IKI also offers products and services related to smart city development, including water management, energy systems, security systems, information systems, and traffic and mobility management systems in the industrial estate sector. Together with their partner, MAPID, NK integrates people movement data into Mapid's Geo platform to provide valuable insights and solutions to clients.
